What do you need?
- Wooden pallets
- Exterior wood paint
- Small roll and tray
- Paintbrush
- Decorative cushion
- Electric screwdrivers and screws
1. Paint the pallets
Nothing is required to prepare these Home Base pallets as they are all pre-treated, oven dried and FSC certified. Stir the paint well and then apply using the mini roller for an even finish. One to two coats will be required and you will need to let the paint dry for an hour before turning the palette over and painting the underside. You may need to use a brush for hard-to-reach areas.
2. Fix the base
Build the base of the workbench by stacking one or more pallets at the correct height.
When you are happy with the result, fix it with screws and an electric drill.
3. Build the back
Add another pallet supported in a vertical position and create the back of the seat. Again fix it in place with a drill and screws.
Add color with more throw pillows, potted plants and paper pompons.
If one row isn’t enough, you might want to consider placing two next to each other to accommodate more friends. Bring the sunshine!
